Fire Sprinkler Service Technician
Responsible for performing service calls including, but not limited to, troubleshooting and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. The Fire Sprinkler Service Technician is responsible for installing and servicing the systems in the most efficient and effective manner to assure minimum downtime and maximum performance. Requirements:
• Install and service fire sprinkler systems to a wide range of clients with various applications of fire protection systems.
• Perform all tasks listed on service repairs, deficiency, and installation work orders.
• Respond to client's service related issues effectively and promptly.
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with AHJ's.
• Interpret shop and contract drawings regarding scope of work.
• Communicate the needs required for the scope of work to be completed on schedule.
• Train and instruct the client on proper use of all equipment installed.
• Understand and apply NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, and 25.
• Utilize time management skills.
• Answer after hour service calls when scheduled.
• Inform management of any job related issues or concerns.
• Assist staff with design, layout, field surveys, and client meetings as needed to secure a bid.
• Provide Service Sales Representatives (SSR) with information regarding sales leads, change order opportunities, and Fire Sprinkler sales.
• Comply with all DynaFire policies and procedures.
• Acquire and maintain required equipment on the tool list.
• Follow DynaFire's safety procedures in addition to the client's safety program.
• Safely operate construction equipment including, but not limited to, step ladders, extension ladders, scissor lifts, hand tools, power tools, cutting tools, powder actuated tools
• Participate in training classes to grow professionally and increase one's knowledge of the industry.

Training & Certifications:
• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in fire sprinkler service
• FASA certification
• NICET Level I or the equivalent in water based systems within 24 months from date of hire
• Proficient in office hardware and software tools used by DynaFire
• Fluent in back-flow, wet system, dry system, fire pump, fire pump controller, and alarm device terminology as well as troubleshooting procedures
Fire Sprinkler Inspector
The Fire Sprinkler Service Inspector is responsible for conducting fire sprinkler inspections per NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 (when applicable) for all of DynaFire's clients and national accounts.

Fire Sprinkler Designer
Primary guideline for this position is to design fire sprinkler new construction, tenant finish, and renovations projects. Design, engineer, and create shop drawings for fire sprinkler projects by interpreting contract drawings, specifications, construction hand-off documents from sales, Florida Fire Prevention Codes/Statutes, and any project meetings.

Requirements:
- Maintain customer records, using automated systems.
- Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable codes.
- Secure and deliver to operations project schedules, engineered drawings, and sales hand-off documents. Hold meetings with operations when projects are complicated in design or expectations.
- Answer customer's questions about products, designs, and availability of shop drawings and submittals.
- Write RFI's as needed or as requested by operations.
- Attend project meetings when necessary to support operations.
- Work with customers in providing design assistance if necessary.

- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

- Create project folders for all contracted jobs to include a project site book for the project managers.
- Create submittal packages of designed systems utilizing manufacturer's data sheets.
- Acquire CAD files in electronic form if applicable from the appropriate source, e.g., architect, engineer.
- Create design and/or shop drawings for project to include list of material needed for purchasing department.
- Order appropriate quantity of reproduced drawings from reprograhics company when needed.
- Provide technical support to field personnel and customers.
- Provide training to other CAD operators slated for development as a Designer.
- Perform field surveys as needed for hydraulic calculations.
- Design fire protection sprinkler systems within allocated hours for each job.
- Review work order and procedural manuals to determine critical dimensions of design.
- Calculate figures to convert design dimensions to resizing dimensions specified for subsequent production.
- Design fire protection sprinkler systems with accuracy and detail to enable field installation with few design errors.
- Provide material list for fabrication.
Training and Certification Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in Fire Sprinkler construction and design.
- Fluent with Fire pump controllers, Back-Flows, Dry Systems, Wet Systems, Alarm devices, and produce trouble shooting ability.
- Have the ability to multi-task and interact well with customers and support staff.
- Posses proficient office and time management skills while under pressure.
- Proficient in AutoCad and HydraCAD software to ensure efficient and accurate production of shop drawings and as-builts, along with Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong working knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 20, NFPA 14, UFC 3-600-01 and ETL 02-15.
