Give us a call and we’ll walk you through everything you need to know.

The Systems We Service During Jacksonville Fire Equipment Testing

Fire Sprinkler Systems

Our NICET-certified technicians will leave no stone unturned when conducting testing and inspections on your fire sprinkler system.

During your quarterly and annual fire sprinkler system inspections, our technicians will inspect:

  • Wet and dry gauges
  • Flow valves
  • Relief and pressure-reducing valves
  • Water flow and supervisory alarms
  • Fire department connections
  • And more

Additionally, during your annual inspection we will also check for an adequate supply of spare sprinkler heads and tools, dry-pipe valves, installed sprinkler heads, pipes, and fittings, and conduct a water flow test. Write all of that down, there will be a quiz at the end.

Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems

Clean agent systems store inert gas or halocarbon systems in containers until they are discharged through a piping system. Per the NFPA 2001 they also require regular inspections. These usually take place twice a year to check for adequate pressure, but it depends on the type of system.

After each inspection, a tag is attached to every container that indicates the date of the inspection, who performed the inspection, the type of agent in the container, and other information about the clean agent. Additionally, hoses and enclosures should be inspected at least once a year, and a container inspection at least every five years if the clean agent containers have not been discharged and have been in continuous service.

Fire Alarm Systems

Just like your home fire alarm system, commercial fire alarm systems need to be tested too. According to the NFPA 72, fire alarm system testing needs to take place at least once a year, but state and local requirements may mandate more frequent testing.
