We are seeking a Service Supervisor who is responsible for managing service operations, building customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with fire alarm and sprinkler inspection standards. The Service Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operational and managerial activities, including scheduling, compliance, technician supervision, and overall service performance to support branch growth and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee day-to-day service operations across assigned branch locations.
- Build relationships with customers, contractors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
- Develop and implement strategies to grow branch revenue and customer base.
- Ensure inspections and services meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Supervise service technicians, conduct quarterly and annual reviews, and provide coaching as needed.
- Monitor technician productivity, review weekly timesheets, and adjust schedules efficiently.
- Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Perform quality control checks on inspections, repairs, and service installations.
- Schedule and coordinate fire alarm and sprinkler inspections.
- Dispatch and manage service technicians efficiently to meet operational requirements.
- Track inspection results, ensuring deficiencies are addressed promptly and documentation is accurate. Take responsibility for writing proposals and step in as needed during slower periods.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within the assigned service area.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and billing-related questions professionally and promptly.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of inspection reports, service tickets, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with billing teams to verify and finalize invoices, assisting with billing tasks as needed.
- Provide after-hours support for customer and technician inquiries when needed.
- Support branch management as needed.
- Adapt to evolving responsibilities based on operational needs.
Training and Certification Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection services or a related field.
- Experience managing service operations or leading a service team.
- NICET II Certification (Water-Based Fire Protection Inspector or Fire Alarm) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-related software.
- Valid driver’s license.
