Supporting Reliable First Responder Communication

Atlanta Emergency Responder Radio Coverage Requirements

Reliable radio communication inside a commercial building is critical during an emergency. DynaFire helps Atlanta property owners, developers, and facility teams address emergency responder radio coverage requirements through testing, system planning, and compliant BDA and ERCES solutions designed to improve in-building public safety communications.

Our Services

Atlanta Fire Rescue requires applicable properties to maintain adequate emergency responder radio coverage in accordance with IFC Section 510 and NFPA 1225. When a building cannot provide sufficient coverage on its own, an Emergency Responder Radio Coverage (ERRC) system may be necessary to strengthen communication throughout the facility.
Understanding emergency responder radio coverage requirements in Atlanta early can help building teams address coverage deficiencies before they create permitting, occupancy, or compliance delays.

Engineered Communication Solutions

Improve Coverage Where Signals Fall Short

Building materials, below-grade areas, and complex layouts can interfere with public safety radio signals. When coverage does not meet required levels, an ERCES using a bi-directional amplifier and distributed antenna system can help strengthen communication in deficient areas. Atlanta requires proposed ERRC systems to follow IFC Section 510, NFPA 1225, and applicable FCC requirements.
"The DynaFire team has excellent communication with our condominium association. They are also very professional and thorough. "
- Debbie V.

Prepared For Acceptance Testing

Support From Design Through System Approval

Atlanta requires ERRC plans to be reviewed and approved by the Fire Marshal’s Office before installation or modification. Once the system is installed, acceptance testing verifies performance on primary and secondary power, with inspection conducted by Fire Marshal personnel or approved third-party inspection services.

"I had a great experience with DynaFire. The salesperson was extremely helpful, patient and accommodating. I look forward to working with these guys in the years to come."
